Job Applicant Privacy Notice

İLESBUS A.Ş., as data controller under Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK/PDPL"), processes the personal data you share when applying for a job through the Careers section of our website as described below. The Careers section is published in Turkish only; this notice is provided in English for information.

1. Data Controller

2. Personal Data Processed

  • Identity and contact details: full name, e-mail address, phone number, city, LinkedIn profile link.
  • Education: school, department, degree, start and end years.
  • Work experience: employers, positions, employment periods and role descriptions.
  • Professional qualifications: languages, skills and the information you share in your cover letter.

The CV file you upload to help fill in the application form is read momentarily for that purpose only; the file itself is not stored on our systems. Only the information you confirm and submit in the form is recorded.

Please do not include special categories of personal data (such as health, religion, ethnic origin or trade-union membership) in your application.

3. Purposes of Processing

  • Receiving your application and assessing your suitability for the position,
  • Carrying out the recruitment process and contacting you during it,
  • For general applications, assessing you for suitable positions that may open in the future.

4. Legal Basis

Your personal data is processed on the basis of being directly related to the establishment of a contract (Article 5/2-(c) PDPL), the legitimate interest of the data controller (Article 5/2-(f) PDPL) and, as regards keeping your application for future positions, your explicit consent (Article 5/1 PDPL).

5. Method of Collection

Your data is collected electronically when you fill in and submit the application form on our website.

6. Transfers

Your personal data is accessible only to authorised staff involved in recruitment. It is not shared with third parties, other than authorised public bodies where required by law.

7. Retention Period

Application data is kept for a maximum of 12 months from the application date and is permanently deleted from our systems at the end of that period. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

8. Your Rights

Under Article 11 PDPL you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information, to have incomplete or inaccurate data corrected, to have your data deleted or destroyed, and to object to processing.
